Secure Client (AnyConnect) + Secure Endpoint – Quick Deployment Guide

Quick post on Implementing Cisco Secure Endpoint leveraging Cisco Secure Client Cloud Deployment – Cool stuff and easy to deploy and implement

First go to SecureX https://securex.us.security.cisco.com

Click the Insights Tab

Go to Deployment Management on the Left SideBar

On the right Go to –> + Create New
Add a name and Click Save

Under the Cloud Management Section, you will have 2 options – Depending on your needs you can have it to AutoUpdate or NoAutoUpdate. This is a cool feature and will be the best way to keep the Core Modules updated

For the Secure Endpoint Section – you can keep all installations with the version that you select. If your Secure Endpoint Subscription is already integrated into SecureX you will see the Choose Instance Dropdown menu with your Secure Endpoint integrations.

After you select the Secure Endpoint Integration, you can then choose a group by clicking the Choose a Group button

This will launch a pop-up window with options to select your Policy Groups

After you have selected the Policy Group, this is how the Secure Endpoint will look like:

Click Save  You will see the following 2 buttons will appear right after you click Save:

  • Full Installer **Local Download, this has everything you need and can even be installed offline.
  • Network installer **You will need internet connectivity for this package to install, all Files are downloaded from the SecureX Insights Cloud.
