This is going to be my Feedback on the Breakout sessions, as expected Cisco was ready for the challenge and the questions.
I really don’t know if CLUS had the ability for you to join a Spark room simultaneously to the session, at least not in my previous CLUS over in 2014, when I guess it was called Project Squared. My experience was really good with this new feature and helped very much to be engaged in the conversation.
The Spark Space Groove
I think this started this year because I have been checking the On Demand Library and this gets announced to all the Sessions I have watched online. The speaker was dedicated to present and not to answer too many questions, but there was always a backup person answering questions over Spark
Why is this a cool thing?
If you are like me, then you will identify with the following reasons:
I hate to interrupt the speaker whenever I have silly or important questions
I never get to talk to the speaker of the session because usually, I’m rushing to go to my next session.
My strong Latino accent does not help too much sometimes with complicated questions.
Maybe the question I have is not worth interrupting or it will be covered at a next slide.
For the previous reason or any other in particular, Collaboration in this connected world, really makes a difference, as well as making the Conference more engaging.
What to look forward to?
Spark is a great platform and very user-friendly, I know users that are not too familiar with it prefer others like Slack or Teams. I have played a bit with Slack and there are things that make sense that I would love to see on Spark, however, I seem to feel that are not 2 comparable products in my opinion 🙂
